Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is an upcoming Tamil-language action drama film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. A. R. Rahman composed the music for the film, which stars Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani, as well as Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham in supporting roles. The trailer and audio of the film was released on September 2. The film will be released in theaters on September 15, 2022.

The film’s first single was released on May 6, 2022. Simbu is portrayed in a different light in the film as ‘Muthu,’ a laborer who has fled to Mumbai from Tamil Nadu.
