Uncoupled is an upcoming eight-part series starring Neil Patrick Harris and created by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman of Emily in Paris, and has been released by Netflix (Modern Family). In the series, Harris plays a gay man in his mid-forties navigating single life in New York City after being unceremoniously dumped by his 17-year-old partner. Tisha Campbell, Brooks Ashmanskas, Emerson Brooks, and Marcia Gay Harden also star. Watch all the episodes of the Uncoupled series on Netflix from starting July 29, 2022.
Harris plays Michael Lawson, a successful New York City real estate agent with a great career, a loving relationship with Tuc Watkins’ Colin, and a supportive family and close friends. But when Colin abruptly moves out on the eve of his 50th birthday, shocking Michael, he is forced to confront two nightmares: losing the man he thought was his soulmate, and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City.
Uncoupled’s first season was created and executive-produced by Darren Star (Sex and the City, Younger) and Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family, Frasier). Tony Hernandez (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), Lilly Burns (Emily in Paris), and Harris are also executive producers.
