Mithran Jawahar’s Thiruchitrambalam is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language musical comedy-drama film. The movie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The film stars Dhanush as the titular character, as well as Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj, and Bharathiraja in supporting roles. The film will be released in theaters worldwide on August 18, 2022.

Anirudh Ravichander composed the music and original score, reuniting with Dhanush six years after their last film, Thanga Magan (2015). Anirudh’s fifth collaboration with Dhanush. On March 4, 2022, lyricist Vivek announced that he would be writing lyrics for one of the film’s songs. while Om Prakash handled the cinematography and Prasanna GK edited it.

Thiruchitrambalam Movie OTT release date

Sun TV purchased the film’s satellite rights, while Sun NXT and Netflix purchased the film’s streaming rights. The OTT release date has yet to be announced.
