The Hype is an ongoing game show that already premiered its season 1 in 2021. The show is created by Rachelle Mendez and directed by Ramy Romany. The series is bankrolled by HBO Films, Scout Productions, and This is Story. Season one had eight episodes. Following the uniqueness of the show, the makers have announced that season 2 is set to premiere its episodes only on HBO on September 22.
