THE ARCHIES OTT MOVIE UPDATE

The Archies is based on the beloved Archie Comics, which were developed by publisher John Goldwater, illustrator Bob Montana, and writer Vic Bloom and originally published in 1941. The main characters in the story were Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper. Jughead was always seeking food, as Archie was juggling two girls in a love triangle.

The film, from Akhtar’s Tiger Baby Films, is being billed by Netflix as a “musical adventure filled with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything young adult, it nevertheless promises to have something for every generation”.

The official cast for Netflix’s new musical drama The Archies has been revealed with the new video on May 14th. Stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda, and Vedang Raina as Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead from Archie Comics. The cast announcement provides a glimpse into the universe that Akhtar promises to bring to life for audiences all around the world.

The movie makers are getting ready to distribute the trailer. However, the actual release date has yet to be revealed, but it will air exclusively on Netflix in 2023.
