A specialist in making unforgettable romantic entertainers in his style, director Hanu Raghavapudi is making a war backdrop film that narrates a love story between a soldier played by Dulquer Salmaan and his love interest, Mrunalini Thakur, in the film. The title of the film, ‘Sita Ramam,’ was revealed on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. The makers of the period drama Sita Ramam announced that the film will be released in theaters on August 5th.
According to the title, Rashmika Mandanna’s character is reminiscent of Lord Hanuma. In the Ramayana, Lord Hanuma assists Rama in bringing back Sita. In this love story set against a war backdrop, Rashmika is on a mission to help Lieutenant Ram and his Sita. The movie will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The film is being produced by Ashwini Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under ‘Swapna Cinema’ and is being presented by ‘Vyjayanthi Movies’. The songs were composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. The cinematography was handled by Ps Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna, and the editing was handled by Kothagiri Venkateswara Rao.
The film’s makers have released a trailer on July 25. Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur star in it. In the trailer, the actor is seen in the avatar of army personnel, while Mrunal plays his love interest. Watch the trailer below,
