Makrand Deshpande, a versatile actor, will play the lead in ‘Shoorveer’ as an army officer, a Disney+ Hotstar action-drama series. The fictional series will be available exclusively on Disney plus Hotstar in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali. Under the banner of Juggernaut Productions. It is created by Samar Khan, and directed by Kanishk Varma.

Along with the show announcement, Disney Plus Hotstar released a short teaser for ‘Shoorveer’, which appears to be a series worth watching. The story is set against the backdrop of the country’s armed forces. The plot revolves around an elite army special force tasked with protecting the country from invading forces. Their battle cry and success mantra are “Sarvashreshth, Sarvatra, Sarvada”.
