Royalteen, is an upcoming Norwegian romantic drama film that is set to premiere on Netflix on 17th August 2022. The film ‘Royalteen’ is based on the book, Arvingen, by Randi Fuglehaug and Anne Gunn Halvorsen. The movie is directed by Per-Olav Sørensen and Emilie Beck is the co-director of the movie. Most of the movie is filmed in Oslo and Norway. Now makers have decided to release the movie post-production on Netflix on 17th August 2022.
Royalteen is a love story between Prince Karl Johan and Lena that even can break the internet age. Prince Karl Johan and newcomer Lena start to develop warm feelings for each other, Lena is skeptical initially for many reasons. Future King Karl knows that the relationship with Lena might put them in an impossible situation while he has to carry a nation on his shoulders. Lena is also aware that dating the future king might put them in trouble. Lena has a secret in her life, which she never shared with anybody including Karl.

The official trailer of the film is released on Netflix Youtube Channel on 6th July 2022. In the trailer, Prince Karl Johan and Lena introduce themselves to one another. Prince Karl Johan introduces himself as Kalle. Lena corrects Kalle when he pronounces Lena’s name incorrectly as Lene by singing a song, which makes the situation awkward.
