Rashtra Kavach: OM begins with what appears to be an action scene from a video game where nobody and nothing seem real. Aditya Roy Kapur appears to be introduced like a character from a video game in which players shoot targets with guns, such as Call of Duty.

• It feels very strange and out of place when the slow camera pans over Aditya Roy Kapur’s strong frame to introduce us to another action hero in Bollywood.
• The film has an intense look and feels thanks to the cringe-worthy dialogue from Prakash Raj and Ashutosh Rana. However, numerous ensemble films, particularly those produced under the Dharma label, have shown and taught us that having a strong supporting cast does not automatically result in a successful movie. It’s actually far tougher to see them struggle to salvage a weak script.
