Rainbow is an upcoming Spanish film starring Dora Postigo and directed by Paco León. This film is distributed by Netflix and written by Javier Gullon and Paco León. Ayax Pedrosa, Wekaforé Jibril, Carmen Machi, Carmen Maura, and Luis Bermejo are among the cast members. The film was produced under the production of elecinco Cinema, Los amigos de Dorothy AIE, Andy Joke, and Colosé Producciones. The film will hit theaters on September 23. After one week of theater release, the film premiered on Netflix on September 30.
Rainbow is a modern-day reimagining of Lyman Frank Baum’s classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which was first published in 1900 and has since been reimagined and adapted numerous times. The film will follow the journey of modern-day Dorothy, an adolescent girl who embarks on her own journey. The film will emphasize important aspects of contemporary culture such as dance, fashion, plastic arts, and most importantly, music.
