Pippa is an upcoming war-drama movie in Hindi that is set to release in theatres around us on 2nd December 2022. The movie is based on the book “The Burning Chaffees: A Soldier’s First‑Hand Account of the 1971” by Balram Singh Mehta. The movie’s screenplay is written by Raja Menon, Tanmay Mohan, and Ravinder Randhawa. Raja Menon is the director of the movie. The Oscar winner, and the pride of India, A.R.Rahman is doing the background score and music of the movie. Since the movie takes back to the Indo-Pak war that happened in 1971, fans are eagerly waiting to watch the events that lead to the war and its post-war effects. On the special occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, the makers of the movie have released the official trailer of the movie and confirmed that the movie will hit theatres across the world on 2nd December 2022.
“Pippa” title highlights the Russian amphibious war tank PT-76, which was used to counter the threat from East Pakistan. The movie revolves around Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, and how he leads his troops to victory. Indian Army’s C Squadron 45 Cavalry led by Mehta had to swim across the River Kabodak in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) to counter the threat and fight for the liberation of another country. This event leads to the formation of Bangladesh.
