Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda is an upcoming Kannada movie, starring Dhananjaya and Aditi Prabhudeva. The romantic thriller, directed by Kushal Gowda, will be released in theaters on September 9. The team made the official announcement, along with stills of the lead actors. Kushal debuted with Kannadakkagi Ondannu Otti. His second film is set in a fictitious town called Jamaligudda. Dhananjay and Aditi Prabhudeva previously worked together on Vijay Prasad’s Thotapuri, which has yet to be released.
Srihari’s Niharika Movies is producing ‘Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda.’ Arjun Janya composed the music, and Karthik shot the film.
According to reports, the team has erected grand sets in Bengaluru and the film’s story involves a plush spa, and the makers have worked tirelessly to convert the old HMT building in Bengaluru into one. Director Kushal also claims that the film has a unique and fresh storyline that falls loosely under the love story/thriller genre.
On Aditi Prabhudeva’s 28th birthday, the cast of ‘Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda’ has revealed her character in the film. The poster, which features a super alluring and striking Aditi Prabhudeva, is a special gesture for the actor, who, judging by the look, appears to be quite at ease.
The OTT rights and release date have yet to be announced.
