Masoom is a Hindi-language crime and thriller series that premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on June 17th. Mihir Desai directs the web series, and Gurmeet Singh is the showrunner. It is produced by Dreamers & Doers Co., a premium content studio owned by Reliance Entertainment. This series is inspired by the Irish drama series “Blood”. Masoom Trailer

The trailer, which follows a daughter’s investigation into her mother’s death, was released on June 8th. The truth about her family is shrouded in deception. In the trailer, the Kapoor family is seen eating dinner at a table, where the younger daughter, played by Samara Tijori, accuses her father of concealing the truth.

Plot of the Masoom Series

Masoom is a six-part web series about the Kapoor family’s life, a wealthy family from the Punjab village of Falauli. The tragic death of Mrs. Balwant Kapoor (Upasana Singh), wife of Dr. Balraj Kapoor (Boman Irani), sets in motion a thrilling ride, at the heart of which are long-buried family secrets. Sana Kapoor (Samara Tijori) returns home to her domineering father, two elder siblings, Sanjana (Manjari Faddnis) and Sanjeev (Veer Rajwant Singh), and several unpleasant and hidden truths lurking within her four walls.
