Maharani 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama streaming television series, starring Rani Bharti (Huma Qureshi) and Bheema Bharti (Sohum Shah). Subhash Kapoor and Nandan Singh wrote and produced Maharani, which was directed by Ravindra Gautam. The show also stars Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Inaamulhaq, Dibyendu Bhattachary, Kani Kasturi, Anuja Sathe, Pramod Pathak, Ravindra Gautam, and others. There is no official release date for Maharani Season 2 yet, however, we can watch all the episodes of the series in SonyLiv soon.

The series’ plot is inspired by the life journey of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s wife, Rabri Devi, who rose from being a housewife to becoming the state’s Chief Minister in the 1990s. The first season, consisting of ten episodes, premiered on SonyLIV on May 28, 2021, and received positive feedback from viewers and critics. The series’ second season, show how Rani Bharti faces the opposition and also turns against her own husband, for the upcoming election.

Series Details

Plot

The series’ plot is loosely based on the life of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, the wife of famous politician Lalu Prasad Yadav. The series would show how an illiterate woman handles the state as CM in the face of conspiracy. Will she be able to handle this? It is the focus of the series.
