Madurai Muthu is a popular Tamil actor and standup comedian. He was born on 19th September 1979 in Tirumangalam, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He completed both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce. In 2016, His wife Vaiammal passed away in a car accident. After that, Muthu wed Neethi, a dentist (his friend). Muthu was the first person to introduce standup comedy to Tamil Nadu and performed more than 1200 stage performances in around 80 countries. He appeared in many movies, including Sabhapathy, Madurai Veeran, and Akilan. Muthu featured prominently in numerous television shows, like Cooku with Comali and Kalakka Povathu Yaaru.
