Maayon, Sibi Sathyaraj’s next film, is a mythological thriller directed by Kishore N.

Tanya Ravichandran plays the female lead, and the other cast members include KS Ravikumar, Radha Ravi, Bagavathi Perumal, Arjun Manimaran, and Hareesh Peradi.

The trailer for Maayon was released on June 5th, and the story revolves around an archaeology team led by Arjun Manimaran, a curious and intelligent man on a quest to debunk myths surrounding an ancient temple that could endanger their lives. During this journey, another conflict threatens the temple’s relics and antiquity; the team will also face numerous twists and attacks.

The movie’s title music and lyric video, composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja, have been released by Team Maayon. Double Meaning Production’s Arun Mozhi Manickam is producing the film and also wrote the screenplay for Maayon. Ram Pandian and Kondalarao will edit the picture, with Ram Prasad handling cinematography.

Maayon is set to be released on June 17, 2022. The OTT release dates for this film are yet to be revealed.
