Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight is the third animated series to come from the wildly successful animated feature series that debuted in 2008. However, this is the first series in which the title character’s voice is provided by Jack Black once more. James Hong, who plays Po’s father Mr. Ping, and Amy Hill, who plays Pei Pei, are two further returning cast members. Netflix has confirmed the release date for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, it will premiere on Netflix on July 14.
The first Kung Fu Panda movie was released in 2008, and it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, and Seth Rogen all provided voices for it. Due to its popularity, two additional sequels were released in 2011 and 2016. The trilogy has currently made more than $1.8 billion in total worldwide box office revenue.

The Dragon Knight will be the third Kung Fu Panda series and the ninth spin-off. Several well-known actors have returned to the series including Rita Ora as the British knight Wandering Blade, James Hong as Mr. Ping, and Jack Black as Po. We watch as Po teams up with Wandering Blade throughout the eleven-episode series to prevent the end of the world.
When a mysterious pair of weasels set their eyes on a collection of four potent weapons, Po is forced to leave his village and set out on a global quest for justice and forgiveness. He teams up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade in this mission. Together, these two mismatched warriors embark on a grand quest to discover the magical weapons and prevent the end of the world. They might even pick up a few tips from one another along the way.
