Kleo Straub (Jella Haase), a former Stasi assassin, is released from prison as the Berlin Wall falls in 1989. She had everything taken away from her because she had been betrayed by those she trusted: her freedom, her family, and her very existence. Kleo, on the other hand, had no idea why. Now that she has nothing to lose, she sets out to discover the origins of the conspiracy and an all-out vendetta despite her losses and armed with a slew of aliases.
