The business was running in full force until they came across a corrupt politician who wanted a huge share of their scamming business. That’s when his writing team went to the area and started conducting their research and gathered more information on the same.

Jamtara is actually a district in Jharkhand, India. It is widely regarded as the hub of Internet scams and phishing operations in India. Jamtara is the home of banks and insurance organizations frauds that people like us encounter on a regular basis. Every year, millions of people get duped by fake banks and insurance companies’ agents. Netflix’s crime drama series Jamtara is based on these cases.
