Good Luck Jerry, is an upcoming dark comedy crime thriller film in the Hindi language which is set to be released in Disney+ Hotstar on 29th July 2022. The movie is an official remake of Lady superstar Nayanthara starred Kolamaavu Kokila directed by Nelson in the Tamil Language. Kolamaavu Kokila movie had a huge success in south India due to its dark comedy and thrilling screenplay. Now the Hindi version of Kolamaavu Kokila is being made as Good Luck Jerry. The screenplay for this film is written by Pankaj Matta and directed by Sidharth Sengupta.
The film revolves around a young girl (Janhvi Kapoor) from a small town. To save her mother from terminal cancer, she gets herself involved with the drug trafficking mafia active in the town. However, her family eventually gets dragged into an internal drug war, putting their lives at risk. Since the “Kolamaavu Kokila” had a huge success for its dark comedy, Bollywood fans are expecting the same in the Hindi version.
