The latest addition to the investigation genre is ‘Elaveezhapoonchira,‘ directed by Shahi Kabir and starring Soubin Shahir. ‘Elaveezhapoonchira’ also stars Sudhi Koppa and Jude Anthany Joseph in lead roles, in addition to Soubin Shahir. After the critically acclaimed ‘Kappela,’ Vishnu Venu is producing the film under the banner of Kathas Untold and KLM Pictures PVT LTD. The makers recently released an intriguing trailer for ‘Elaveezhapoonchira,’ which promises a different type of investigative thriller. The film will hit theaters on July 15, 2022.

Story

Follows two police officers at a small wireless police station on a hilltop as they work to solve the mystery of a woman’s body parts scattered throughout Elaveezhapoonchira. Elaveezhapoonchira is a remote tourist destination located over 3,000 feet above sea level. The film entertains as well as informs, providing the viewer with a unique visual and audio experience.

The two-minute and thirty-second trailer depict a group of people having a good time at Elaveezhapoonchira. Things go wrong when a mysterious murder occurs, and Soubin Shahir’s police character is tasked with finding the perpetrator of the heinous crime, or a series of crimes. The trailer also highlights Soubin Shahir’s acting abilities, and the actor is seen in two different outfits, implying that the story will most likely take place in two different time periods.
