Demonte Colony 2 is an upcoming Tamil horror film starring Arulnithi and directed by Venky Venugopal. The director Ajay Gnanamuthu announced that his debut film, Demonte Colony, would be turned into a franchise and that Arulnithi, who played the lead in that film, would also appear in the second film in the series. We now know that Priya Bhavani Shankar, who worked with Arulnithi in last year’s romantic drama Kalathil Santhippom, will reprise her role in this film. Priya will be playing the female lead in Demonte Colony 2, which will go on the floors in August.

The makers announced that, in addition to certain characters from the first film, the sequel will feature newer characters who may appear in future installments of the franchise. Ajay will write and produce the sequel, while his co-director Venky Venugopal will direct it. With the film, Ajay Gnanamuthu will make his debut as a producer.
