Cobra Kai is an ongoing American martial art comedy-drama television series. The Cobra Kai series is based on The Karate Kid, by Robert Mark Kamen. The series is a sequel to The Karate Kid. Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg created the series. The producers of the series are Katrin L. Goodson and Bob Wilson. Earlier first two seasons were released on Youtube Red and Youtube Premium. And due to its popularity, the next two seasons were acquired by Netflix and episodes are available in Dolby Digital 5.1 audio format. It is noted that the third season of the series was nominated for “ Outstanding Comedy Series” at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The makers have announced that season 5 will premiere on Netflix on September 9, 2022.
Three decades after their final fight at 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso find themselves martial-arts rivals again. Johny rescues bullied kid Miguel to join to resume Cobra Kai dojo. They fight the battle for the valley.
Season 5 starts with the new threat for the Cobra Kai. Sensei Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire. Johnny Lawrence, Daniel LaRusso, and old friends join hands to face the battle.
