The plot revolves around Carter, who wakes up two months into a deadly pandemic originating from the DMZ that has already devastated the United States and North Korea. He has no memory of his past but discovers a mysterious device in his head and a lethal bomb in his mouth. A voice in his ears gives him orders to avoid being killed, and he is thrown into a mysterious operation as the CIA and the North Korean coup close in on him.
The makers have released a teaser, which is packed with adrenaline-fueled scenes and is sure to get the heart pumping a little faster as it blends fast-paced action and a distinct sense of cool.

Carter, a Korean action film, has received a trailer from Netflix ahead of its release. The trailer depicts scenes ranging from intense physical combat to a chase through the countryside reminiscent of “North by Northwest”. What is more difficult to discern from the slickly edited trailer is that the film is presented as a one-scene, one-cut actioner in the style of “1917” or drama film “The Russian Ark.”
