Banaras is an upcoming multilingual romantic drama written and directed by Jayatheertha and produced by Tilakraj Ballal. A heartfelt love story set against the backdrop of Kashi. The lead actors are Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro. Banaras will be released in five languages: Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. However, no specific release dates for this film have been announced yet.
B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film. Lahari Music and T-Series own the music rights to the Hindi and South Indian languages. Advaitha Gurumurthy shot the footage.
