Ashoka Blade is an upcoming Kannada action-romance film. The film will be released on September 16, 2022. It is set in the 1970s and 1980s and is based on a true story. T K Dayanand wrote the story, and Vinod V Dhondalay will make his directorial debut in the film. T K Dayanand (of Bell Bottom fame) is also working on the screenplay for the film.

Cast & Crew

Poornachandra Tejaswi will compose the music for Ashoka Blade, which will be produced by Vardhan Hari and Sathish Ninasam under the banner of Vriddhi Creations and Sathish Pictures. The cinematography will be handled by Lavith. The film stars Sathish and Kavya Shetty in key roles, and the cast is still being finalized, including the heroine and other supporting actors.

Movie Plot

The entire shooting will take place in Chamarajnagar and Nanjangud. Ashoka Blade is set in the 1970s and 1980s and is based on a true story. Sathish will appear in the film as someone fighting for a community and will wear four different outfits. The film will follow him through his various stages of life: youth (25), middle-age (35), and old age (70).
