Andor is an upcoming science fiction TV series in the English language. The series is based on George Lucas’ Star Wars. Tony Gilroy is the creator and Cinematography is handled by Jonathan Freeman. The series will consist of 12 episodes, with the first three planned to air on September 21, 2022. The remaining episodes will be released on a weekly basis until November 23.

The series begins five years before the events of Rogue One (2016) and follows an ensemble cast of characters as a Rebel Alliance forms in opposition to the Galactic Empire. Cassian Andor, a robber who becomes a rebel and eventually joins the Rebellion, is one of these characters.
