Akshay Kelkar is a Marathi film actor who has primarily worked in television. On March 16, he was born in Thane, Maharashtra, India to Jayendra and Kalpana Kelkar. He did a diploma in commercial arts from the LS Raheja School of Art in Worli. In 2020, he rose to prominence on the television show Bhakharwadi. Akshay debuted in the show Be Dune Dah. Later, he appeared in short films such as Don Cutting and the web series Bang Bang. He did well in Marathi films such as Madhuri, Premasathi, and College Cafe and received positive feedback for his performance. He recently appeared in the Hindi TV show Nima Denzongpa.
