Adipurush is an upcoming Hindu mythological film, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan. This is based on Ramayana by Valmiki. It is written and directed by Om Raut, and produced along with Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair under the banner of T-series Films and Retrophiles. The film is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages as well as dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films, which is made on budget of 500 crores. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide theatrically on 12 January 2023 in 3D format.

Plot

The Ramayana is an old Sanskrit epic that portrays Prince Raghava’s journey to save his loving wife Janaki from Lanka’s clutches with the aid of a monkey army. It dates from about 500 and 100 BCE.
