The motion poster for the much-anticipated film 1770 has been released. The film is inspired by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s Bengali novel Anandamath. Shhailendra Kkumar, Sujay Kutty, Krishna Kumar B, and Suraj Sharma are the producers of this movie. This multilingual film will be directed by famous director Ashwin Gangaraju and produced by ‘SS1’ Entertainment and PK Entertainment. Ashwin Gangaraju had previously worked with Rajamouli on both ‘Egga‘ and ‘Baahubali.’ 1770 Movie will be released in six languages simultaneously: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.

Plot

The plot revolves around the devastating Bengal Famine of 1770, which occurred during the period of company rule in India, and the failed Sannyasi rebellion.
